We do not currently buy much coffee from San Adolfo, but this lot from Susan Meneses is a standout. We look forward to visiting and learning more on our next trip to Huila. In this cup we find hibiscus, blueberry, and finger lime.

ABOUT SUSAN MENESES

This is our first year working with Susan Meneses. Tasting coffees from producers we have never worked with remains one of the most rewarding aspects of this project. As we continue to build our buying project in Huila, we are continually reminded how much remains to be discovered.

ABOUT PINK BOURBON

Pink Bourbon is a relatively new variety being grown primarily in and around Huila, Colombia. The variety has been identified genetically as an Ethiopian Landrace, but unfortunately, we cannot be any more specific as to its origins until there is a larger genetic database.
